

Assisting on Blithe Spirit meant learning how comedy is lit, and how a single pale wash can turn a drawing room from cheerful to haunted without ever announcing itself.
The design carried a domestic warmth on the surface with a colder register held just beneath it, ready to surface whenever the supernatural entered the room.
A parlor that behaves. Until it doesn't.
Warm at the walls, cold at the ceiling. A ghost is a temperature before it is a body.
Every laugh line lit by the room. Every silence lit by whatever is entering it.
